The camping sector is consolidating its position as the big winner in tourism in Spain, not only in the last year, but also as the sector that has grown the most in the last decade and since the pandemic. This is confirmed by data from the National Statistics Institute (INE), ratified by the Spanish Federation of Campsites (FEEC), which confirms the ‘extraordinary moment’ that this accommodation model is experiencing in our country.

The figures for 2024, with more than 10.2 million travellers and almost 49.3 million overnight stays, demonstrate this, which means a growth in the last five years of 23.5% and 21%, respectively, and 52.5% and 43.6% in a decade.

This is a sector with a turnover of more than 1,300 million euros per year.
